Navaratri, derived from the Sanskrit words meaning “nine nights,” is a sacred festival dedicated to the worship of nine forms of the divine Shakti. It is a time to connect with the supreme power that encompasses all deities. Navaratri is considered an auspicious period for embarking on new ventures and endeavors.
Our puja service for Navaratri Puja includes a range of rituals such as the Ganpati invocation mantra, invocation mantras for major deities, meditation (Dhyaan), daily recitation of the Durga Saptashati, Aarti, Bhog, Pujan for all nine days, lighting of the Akhand Diya for nine days, and daily Brahman bhoj.
During these nine days, each set of three days is dedicated to one of the Trinity in their feminine forms – Durga, Lakshmi, and Saraswati. The initial days are dedicated to invoking the power and energy of Durga Maa, followed by the worship of Lakshmi Maa for peace and prosperity. The final days focus on Saraswati Maa for spiritual knowledge and liberation, culminating in a special Havan on the eighth day.
Throughout the festival, an oil lamp called the Nandadip is kept burning, symbolizing the divine presence. The holy book, Durga Saptashati, which recounts the exploits of the goddess, is read during these nine days. Daily artis are performed with great reverence, accompanied by the recitation of sacred shlokas.

You have the option to book the navratri puja online with or without a DVD. The hour-long DVD includes the main elements of your puja, such as the Sankalpa, Abhishek (invocation mantras), presiding deity mantra chants, Homa, and Aarti. If you choose the DVD option, we will upload it to a cloud link for you to download and watch within a week of the puja’s completion. Alternatively, if you opt out of the DVD, we will promptly email you a selection of short video clips and photos after the successful completion of your ritual.
